Since the release of his debut single “The Reef” on Frite Nite he has been pulling down remixes, working on vinyl releases and performing mindbending sets across the nation. Seemingly erupting from nowhere this Oakland based artist has been melting both faces and hearts with his own brand of bass music, frequently combining filthy bass sounds with focused melodies and sentimental vocal snippets into a melange of sonic wonder.

Pulling influences from both club culture and counter culture NastyNasty’s unique sound has garnered attention around the globe gracing blogs and mixes worldwide, most notably; 2 top rated mp3′s on Xlr8r, a rinsing on Skream’s “Stella Sessions” radio show by dj/producer Starkey and his own mix on Rob Booth’s (formery of BBC1′s “BreezeBlock” with Mary Anne Hobbs) “Electronic Explorations” podcast series.

Crawling out of the swamps of Northern California, Mr. Rogers has been sending his handcrafted sonic waves out of the lush forests, slowly creeping down the mountains and rippling into unsuspecting eardrums worldwide.

Following the success of his first album release The Ooze System and his recent EP The Parallel Neighborhood, Mr. Rogers has since been slipping behind the console and slurped up on dance floors all across North America, inciting fun-filled, energetic frenzies for freaks a plenty. Mr. Rogers connects with dance floors instantly with his totally unique style. His signature sound seeps out of every beat per minute, and latches onto your primal dance button.

The brand new independently released album “Licking Crystals” is a conglomeration of his thickest juiciest tunes, straight from his badass proverbial bag of bass. Coming off a busy summer touring schedule, these tunes have recently been put to the test (and gobbled up) on dancefloors all across the North American continent.

psychedelic subliminal mind melt paintings

Born in Tucson, AZ Glen Allen grew up in Metro Detroit during the era of the Atari 2600 and remembers drawing while listening to Jeff Mills AKA the Wizard on WJLB radio in the 1980′s. After graduating from Art school in 1994, Glen co-founded the Cement Space gallery in Detroit where he curated shows and events with cutting-edge Detroit artists and musicians such as G.L. Barr, Juan Atkins, AUX 88, DBX and Robert Hood.

While living in Arizona from 1998-2008, Glen continued developing his pop-infused painting style, having exhibitions at Studio Lodo, Chocolate Factory and Pravus gallery. Showcasing subject matter from the psychedelic to the sublime, Glen’s art is sometimes iconoclastic and sometimes eye-candy.
